Subuh itu seperti subuh-subuh terdahulu, soalan wajib tanpa jemu, untuk mengingatkan dia pada yang SATU. Aku di BGCR, Gambang, masa tu, menemani suami menghadiri satu persidangan. Sejak jadi suri rumah tangga sepenuh masa ni memang itulah tugas utama, mengikut suami kemana saja dia pergi.
"dah solat subuh?" smsku
"dah"
"exam kul berapa?"
"Nak gerak dah ni. Exam 8.30"
"Owh... All the best!!!, ride carefully!!!"

Pukul 11.52 pagi...dia sms
"Alhamdulillah...."
"Alhamdulillah,...tahniah!!!" balasku...

What a Day to Remember
Had an exam at 8:30am at Sheraton Imperial Hotel, KL. While riding from Bandar Enstek, bike stuttered, losing power as the meter hit more than 100km/h. Stopped once at the emergency lane on the highway, then continued at low throttle.
The moment I parked in front of Sheraton, which was around 8:15am, only to remember thatI left my CALCULATOR!!! (read: weapon). And how on earth am I going to survive 35 calculation questions without it?! Quickly went up, and the person in charge at the examination center agreed to give me until 9:00am maximum if I were to go out and find a calculator. Otherwise, sorry bro, wouldn't be able to sit for the exam. (But where can I find one within that short period?). Oh well, I can literally say, lucky I'm in love with an actuary, haha. Thanks Aliaa for bringing your TI-30XS calculator everywhere inside your handbag. Rushed to GE Mall, grabbed the calculator, then signed in at the exam center at 8:41am. Now you're my knight in shining armor. Haha.
Alhamdulillah, all went well. Nailed the exam. But no, that's not the end......I LOST MY BIKE'S KEY!!! Not in the bag. Not in the jacket. Not at the receptionist. Not along the path I went from the parking area to the exam center. Oh no. There's a chance that I left the key at the bike because I was in a rush, and that's not good, because the key isn't at the bike anymore. Half an hour went through but I could trace nothing. No choice, getting the spare key at home is the quickest solution, so I hopped on LRT to KL Sentral, then got on ERL to Salak Tinggi (with the hope there'll be cabs that I can ride to Enstek). Arrived at the ERL station, wops, I can only see buses going to LCCT. Called for cab, and got one about 40 minutes later. The cabbie was a nice man, a retiree. But anyways. He waited outside my house as I went inside to look for the spare key, then sent me back to the ERL station.
Praise to Almighty, the bike's still there as I arrived at Sheraton. With the rain pouring down, I didn't care anymore, didn't bother to wear the raincoat, needed the rain to perfectly end my eventful day. Haha.
Let's call it a day.
Oh and Aliaa, thanks again for the calculator. Really, thank you.
